The FAS2020 is a scalable iSCSI/FC SAN/NAS storage appliance with up to 68TB capacity.
The NetApp FAS2020 is the most affordable storage platform in family, ideal for value-oriented deployments. The NetApp FAS2020 provides versatility with integrated block and file-level data access, intelligent management software and advanced data-protection capabilities. It can be supplied with either internal SAS or SATA drives. The FAS2020 is capable of running the full suite of NetApp software and can be used as primary or secondary storage for both block and file storage over Fibre Channel and Ethernet networks.

The FAS2020 has dual controllers and disk drives integrated into a single chassis and delivers lead offerings for iSCSI and Remote Office/Branch Office (ROBO) market segments.
The FAS2020 maximum capacity internally is 12TB (12x1TB SATA HDDs) and 68TB total by attaching four DS14mk2AT shelves (56x1TB SATA HDDs). The FAS2020 is priced to compete in the mid market and offers exceptional value, especially when it’s built in data deduplication capabilities are taken into account.
